What Can You Expect from a PrincipleDesigns™ Web-site? PrincipleDesigns™ provides sharp recognizable web-site designs for churches and business. As we have stated several times throughout our site, our goal is that you would have a seamless design throughout all of your media, including, but not limited to - your logo, business cards, web-site, stationery, CD labels, and brochures or flyers - keeping your own unique style that we have developed for you. Second, your web-site will be in accordance with our Theological Approach to Business and Design Principles and our Practical Approach to Design Methods and Principles. Please take the time to read these and become familiar with our business practices. One of our strongest principles that we stand by, is an unwillingness to manipulate people in the media we produce. We state on our site, "WE WILL NOT produce any media which teaches, endorses, or employs the teachings of psychology and psychological techniques of manipulation - either in ads, graphics, or otherwise." We realize that many ministries and businesses potentially could be turned away from doing business with us. However, we stand by this principle of non-manipulation. The benefit, for the right customer, is that they can be assured that we will not design their product in such a way that it would manipulate their audience to whom they have contact. Further, along with the graphics design and site building, our web-sites have many built in features that are not necessarily readily apparent to the eye. What do we mean? We employ several methods of site-optimization and site-submission - 1) meta-tags, page titles, and links, with keywords and descriptions are used on each web-page so that each page has the highest possible opportunity of coming up in the search engines (such as Google and Yahoo searches); 2) submission of your web-site's URL to the major search engines, rather than waiting for them to eventually find your web-site; 3) XML Sitemap file is produced and stored on your site, allowing Google early awareness of your site structure and frequency of update; 4) robots.txt file is created and stored on your site, telling search engines where not to search on your site, such as staying away from your CGI-BIN and other important folders, like your images. 5) a powerful and attractive search engine, created through the use of PHP is installed on your site; 6) guestbooks, forums, and/or contact forms may be placed on your web-site; 7) powerful techniques are used to protect original graphic designs and organization logos; 8) testing your web-site for design and functionality in all major internet browsers - such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape Navigator and Opera - we don't want to hinder your ministry or business testimony by disregarding your visitor's potential browser preferences!
